Angel House
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the slopes of Clee Hill, Angel House offers a perfect rural retreat whilst only being a few miles outside the busy market town of Ludlow. Angel House is a place to pause, relax and recharge. It’s a treat for you which commences on your arrival with a (complimentary) pot of tea or coffee and biscuits or cake (often home cooked). Drink in the views from the sunroom, warm yourself on our patio in the summer months, or in front of the wood burning stove in winter and plan your stay with our local guidebooks, or pick a novel or magazine from our library and just unwind!
We (Jenny & Nick), not to mention Maddi the cat, want you to enjoy your stay and help make it as memorable as possible. As we only have two rooms with a capacity for just six guests, we have time to meet your needs and make you feel at home in our home. We understand that every guest has unique likes and dislikes. So just ask, if we can, we will!
Both our guest rooms are large and well furnished with comfortable beds and modern en-suite facilities. Breakfast can be as hearty or healthy as you like with full English, a choice of cereal, fruit salads, yogurts and toast with as much tea, coffee and fruit juices as you desire. We try and cater for all, so being vegetarian or lactose or milk intolerant, for example, means you don’t miss out! We like our guests to return again and again and we know that by blending the luxury and comfort of a good hotel with the warm, friendly and personal atmosphere of a loved home, they do.
We promise you a warm welcome to our lovely home, set in a delightful location. So whether you would like a restful break; a walking holiday; a base to explore the delights of Shropshire or Herefordshire; a visit to Ludlow, described by Betjeman as “The most perfect town in England”; or simply a comfortable haven during a business trip or en-route to other lovely areas of England and Wales - Angel House is just the place for you.
