A large comfortable Victorian stone house with extensive gardens and ample parking just off A49 road 1 mile from Craven Arms and 6 miles from Ludlow. In an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" close to Shropshire Way and Stokesay Castle a marvellous 13 century fortified manor house. Children over 12 and dogs are welcome.

The long Mynd provides the ideal setting for walking or even hand gliding! There are ample golf courses, river and pool fishing and the Edwardian elegance of Ludlow Racecourse. Craven Arms is only one mile away with shopping facilities, pubs and a railway serving Ludlow, Shrewsbury and the Heart of Wales Line.

Ludlow is said to be "The Best Small Town in England" with it's cliff top castle and Michelin starred dining. Host to the famous annual festival and Marches Food and Drink Festival.

Brereton House is situated in the tiny hamlet of Woolston with glorious views overlooking the village of Wistanstow. Peace and tranquility can be experienced and enjoyed from our extensive gardens surrounding the red brick Victorian house on our working farm.

The accommodation offers two traditionally furnished en-suite rooms, one twin and one double - both very spacious and with tea making facilities.

Plenty of food and fresh air makes it an ideal base for your holiday.We are ideally situated for the energetic who like to walk; indeed you can leave the car at the house and walk onto the Long Mynd by the gliding club. The Stiperstones, still relatively undiscovered, also offer excellent walking.
